Fond du Lac Bumper's First Delivery Vehicle

As we updated our website, it was suggested that we have a section featuring customers’ vehicles. We have been blessed over the 50+ years of this business in being trusted with the chrome plating of parts for many fine-looking autos & trucks. It only made sense to us that we would feature our Founder’s car – Rudy Gneiser’s 1952 Kaiser Traveler.

It listed for $113.59. It also has the Van Auken grille guard as well as 2 spot lights.

Miles: 2,030 miles since restoration was completed; 58,570 miles prior to the start of the restoration.

Brief history of the Car: Rudy Gneiser was the Kaiser-Frazer dealer in Fond du Lac, WI. He kept the car after they closed the dealership and used it as the first delivery vehicle for our current company that he and his son Dave started in 1956. Imagine if you were one of our first 8 customers and we showed up with this car to deliver your bumpers! We now have over 1,600 customers. We have been driving the Kaiser to visit customers since its restoration. We restored the car as part of our 50th Anniversary celebration.
